Water and nutrients are essential for plant growth and life. A plant will grow healthy and yield well when water and necessary nutrient are available from soil. Therefore we need to provide these two essentials regularly to plants whether they are planted in pot or in a field. But we observe that only a part of given water and nutrients are available to the plants. Maximum water is lost due to leaching through the soil & evaporation therefore is unavailable for plant use.

Jalsanjeevani has the property of easily releasing the absorbed water and nutrients, thereby allowing the plants to have water and nutrients available at will as function of the absorption – release cycles. The product absorbs water by approximately 400 to 500 times of its own weight in distilled water. It releases water and nutrients mixed in water slowly to the root zone of the plant.

Therefore, necessary moisture level and nutrient availability required for the plant growth and life is maintained for a much longer time than normal watering. The quantity of water is reduced per watering or the watering frequency can be reduced as maximum quantity of water is being available to the plant due to reduced loss by leaching or evaporation.

Jalsanjeevani is effective in the planting of trees, bushes, and samplings. It makes it possible to reduce the mortality rate due to transplanting shock and to enhance root development and therefore bring about more rapid growth and production.

• Dig a hole about three times the volume of the root system
• Mix 1 to 2 kg of Jalsanjeevani per 1000 Kg into the earth fill
• The polymer must be evenly mixed into the excavated soil. A small amount of untreated soil must be set aside
• Place the root ball of the plant at the bottom of the hole and fill in the hole with the treated soil. Make sure that the product is distributed evenly around the roots. Then cover the surface with 5 cm of untreated soil to prevent degradation of the polymer by ultraviolet rays and stagnation of water on the surface
• Be especially careful not to put unmixed dry product at the bottom of the hole. After hydration, the product would destabilise the plant.
