ADDRILL EA is a high molecular weight partially hydrolyzed Polyacrylamide / polyacrylate (PHPA) co-polymer in emulsion form. The product is primarily used for viscosity  , shale encapsulation amd bore hole stabilization

• ADDRILL PA is a cost effective drilling fluid applicable to all types of drilling applications like water wells, diamond coring mineral exploration etc.
• Stabilise water sensitive formations
• Reduces drill pipe torque and pumping pressure.
• Mixes conveniently with stirring in water
• Fluid preparation time reduced drastically as the product develops viscosity rapidly and once prepared the fluid is ready for use
• High viscosity of this drilling fluid helps in better removal of cuttings from borehole
• Reduced recirculation of cutting back into the bore hole because of immediate settling in the pit
• Better shell stabilisation prevents water loss through cracks and fissures

• Add 1.5 to 2.0 kg of ADDRILL PA per 1000 litre of water under continuous stirring or alternatively it may be added by slowly sprinkling the product in the water stream of recirculating pump into the pit
• After complete addition of the product and achievement of required Marsh funnel viscosity (40 to 60 sec.), the fluid is ready for use
• Hardness and chloride of make up water used for preparing solution of this product should be less than 150 ppm and 1500 ppm respectively

ADDRILL EFR is a medium charge; rapidly hydrating anionic emulsion for freshwater and low to medium brine, friction reducer for use in water based fluid additives.

Application

ADDRILL EFR is designed to reduce drag and friction pressure when pumping low viscosity fluids. It should be added in water to get a highly viscous fluid due to rapid hydration of the polymer. Product should be used 0.05 to 0.2 % concentration of total fluid pumped (V/V) to get significant (> 60 % depending on concentration of use and water characteristics) decrease in pumping pressure losses in hydraulic fracturing operations.

It mixes conveniently in water when introduced with moderate stirring. Reduces drill pipe torque and pumping pressure to increase flow rate and energy consumption for improved performance and economics.

User guidelines

Add 0.5 to 2 kg or liter of ADDRILL EFR per 1000 liter of water under continuous stirring or alternatively it may be added by slowly pouring the product in the water stream of recirculating pump into the pit.

ADDRILL CI

THE CLAY INHIBITOR

Clay swelling adversely impact drilling operations especially in the water based mud systems.ADDRILL CI is a polyamine based inhibitor which prevents water intake in clay, gumbo and reactive shale. The product is specially formulated to inhibit clay swelling by preventing water intake by actively bonding at the exchange sites.

4.    Prevents sticky clay build up on bit.

User guidelines

1.    pH of the drilling fluid should be in the range of 9.0 to 9.5 for effective performance of the product.

2.    Effective concentration of ADDRILL CI in drilling fluid, mainly constituting of Bentonite ,should be 0.2 to 0.5 % of weight of Bentonite, depending of hydration characteristics of shale.

3.    Product should be used in 2 to 5 % of drilling fluid volume depending upon the reactivity of clay in composite drilling fluid constituting polyacrylamide polymer and glycols, KCL etc.
